As part of the financial support programme under the "Improving Protection, Social Cohesion and Access to Livelihoods for Vulnerable Refugees and Host Communities in Southeast Türkiye" project, a total of 80 beehiveswere granted to three beekeepers living in Lice, Diyarbakır.
With this support, Ahmet Fırat Kuvane, Selim Bağır, and Helin Özer have been able to strengthen and expand their beekeeping activities.
The grant programme not only promotes sustainable honey production but also contributes to protecting the vital role of bees in maintaining healthy ecosystems. Thanks to this support, beekeepers who previously faced financial barriers are now able to continue natural honey production while contributing to the local economy and sustainable rural livelihoods.
